Queer Decarbonization Summit

June 23–25, 2025
Garrison, NY
About The Program

Not an ordinary conference.

A gathering of LGBTQ+ climate leaders. No boring panels in windowless rooms. Just interactive sessions designed to foster meaningful connections and learning. Meet every attendee through participant introductions, curated breakouts, and asks/offers. Build sincere, enduring relationships that enrich personal, professional, and business growth.

Innovate Cross-Sector

Public, private, and NGO leaders working across climate investment, sustainability, carbon removal, and clean energy in buildings, transport, and industry.

Unplug to Connect Deeply

Immersive, restorative, and screen-free. Put down devices to be present for yoga, nature walks, and firepit time.

Gather in Solidarity

Shared identity unlocks trust, joy, and belonging—fast. That foundation lets us focus on real collaboration.

VENUE

The Garrison Institute is located in Garrison, New York in a former Capuchin monastery overlooking the Hudson River. Facilities include a variety of spacious meeting and break-out rooms, an inspirational non-denominational meditation hall, and a wood-paneled dining hall. The Institute currently offers accommodations for 165 overnight guests, in single, double and dorm style rooms.

Directions: take the MetroNorth train from Grand Central to Garrison (75 minutes), then take the shuttle or walk a mile through a wooded path. View the MTA Schedule.

In planning this Summit, we made choices to reduce emissions—like encouraging train travel, serving vegetarian meals, and using a low-impact venue. To go further, we’ve contributed to durable carbon removal through Terraset—a nonprofit funding the most promising solutions—aligning with the event’s estimated footprint.
