Garrison Institute

The Garrison Institute is located in Garrison, New York in a former Capuchin monastery overlooking the Hudson River. Facilities include a variety of spacious meeting and break-out rooms, an inspirational non-denominational meditation hall, and a wood-paneled dining hall. The Institute currently offers accommodations for 165 overnight guests, in single, double and dorm style rooms.​

  • The Garrison Institute is located in Garrison, New York in a former monastery overlooking the Hudson River. The Garrison Institute is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian organization exploring the intersection of contemplation and engaged action in the world. The mission is to apply the transformative power of contemplation to today's pressing social and environmental concerns, helping build a more compassionate, resilient future.

    From NYC, take the MetroNorth train from Grand Central to Garrison (90 minutes), then take a shuttle or walk a mile through a beautiful wooded path.

  • Nope. Lodging is included in your ticket. You’ll have your own room and access to a clean shared hallway bathroom.

  • Yes. We close registration 3 weeks before the event. But most tickets sell out long before that.

    • $2,250 → Early bird (through February 27, 2025)

    Tickets include lodging and food (typically an additional $400/day).
